New England's Mindset X Signs With TMG

Transit Music Group proudly announces the signing of New England hard rock / metal act Mindset X

. From their humble beginnings of jamming in a rented basement in the fall of 2004 to the success of opening for Korn in 2009, Mindset X has evolved to one of the most well respected trios in the area. With 5 full length CD's and 2 EP's under their belt Mindset X has paved the way for being known as one of the hardest working bands around. With their latest release, "As Seen On TV" becoming available to the pleasure of fans and critics alike, MSX is continuing on their path of impressive growth. Mindset X is comprised of Steven Scott on guitar & Vocals, Jerry Houle on bass & vocals and Adam Cote on Drums.

TMG Concludes Productive New York City Trip

Transit Music Group principals returned from a very productive business trip to New york City where multiple meetings were held with regional and national counterparts. The meetings resulted in a working framework which will enhance TMG clients by better positioning them in a broader entertainment arena. Meetings were held with representatives from GNYC-TV (NYC Promoters) and Black Spot Productions who cover a substantial geographic market including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland and Delaware. TMG is positioning itself to offer reciprocal representation and placement of talent up and down the eastern seaboard. New York City venues involved include the renowned China Club, where international talent including Eric Clapton, Elton John, Jimmy Page, and David Bowie, to name but a few, have been known to frequent. Additionally, other similar suitable venues were attended with the goal of broadening TMG's market base. Shadows Sanctuary Signed To TMG's Skullduggery Label

We are proud to announce that Concord, NH's Shadows Sanctuary has been signed to Transit Music Group's Skullduggery label. Shadows Sanctuary possesses a very original metal sound that emminates their classic metal influences while remaining uniquely their own. Their live show is full of energy and would make it very difficult to sit still. The band has been hard at work on their new album that will be completed very soon. Be Part of The 2009 Great Bay Music Festival Documentary Filming!

We are proud to announce that CTN Channel 5 from Portland, Maine will be taking part in the 2009 Great Bay Music Festival on the weekend of September 18th - September 20th in Dover, NH. The television group will be filming portions of the band performances as well as interviews with artists and organizers, and the activities & atmosphere of this year's festival. Ultimately, the final product will be available as an affordable DVD keepsake of the event.

Ernie Boch Jr.'s Music Drives Us Foundation Joins 2009 Great Bay Music Festival:

PFG-TV, the fast- growing cable access television program based out of Manchester, NH, has been featured as the cover story in The Nashua Telegraph's Encore section. Hosted by Scorch, the popular drive-time DJ at WGIR Rock 101 and co-hosted by fellow WGIR DJ Nick Carpinelli, PFG-TV has expanded inro 53 different markets throughout New England and as far west as Texas and California.

Kingswoodstock~ a Statewide Battle of the Bands will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2009 beginning at 10 am at Kingswood Regional High School in the auditorium. This event is a fundraiser for support teens in receiving prevention, intervention and treatment services in substance related issues. All bands that enter must be under the age of twenty one years old with at least one band member currently attending high school or lower grades. Each band must play at least one original song and must fill out an application which can be obtained by contacting Karen Lovett at Kingswood Regional High School at (603) 569-2055, or possibly some schools music departments.

The winning band will receive studio recording time, air time on pfgtv cable television show, as well as play at Meanyfest in New York City! The sound and lighting will be provided by Dave Roberge and Transit Music Group. All prizes have been donated to this event by the generosity of the community in which you live in. This event will celebrate music as the language that breaks all societal barriers and brings people together. There is no cost to enter this contest; only completed application is needed. The first fifteen bands who enter will be guaranteed slots and other will be put on a list in case a band withdraws or does not agree to the terms of the application.

The cost for the audience to witness this celebration of the musical talent of the youth in our state is only five dollars for the entire day. The Region 9 Vocational Center's Marketing and Culinary Arts Programs will be providing delicious snacks, drinks, and lunch for sale on that day in the cafeteria.
